Using the Android application, you can select to navigate to the Channel Guide and see the scheduled programs that are currently running on the channels. below we will explain each element that is displayed on the page:
1. Here you can view the area on which you landed – in this case is the Channel Guide and you are viewing the OTT Channels
2. This is the channel player where the stream will play
3. Here you can view the name of the channel that is currently playing
4. Here you can view the name of the program that is currently running on the channel
5. Here you can view:
- the EPG number of the channel
- the name of the channel
- the status of the channel: Live, CatchUp, Adult (18+), Omniverse
6. Here you can view the start and end time of the scheduled program that is currently running on the channel
7. Here you can view the description of the program currently running on the channel
8. Click here to access the OTT Channels – this will list the OTT Channels that have programs scheduled and which are published on EPG
9. Click here to access the Social Broadcasts channels – this will list the channels that are selected by website administrator to be displayed as Social Broadcasts
10. Here you can view the current date: the day and the month
11. Here you can view the time frame of the Electronic Program Guide (EPG)
12. This is the cursor that is showing the actual time and which you can use to see what program is playing on every channel
13. Here you can view the number of the channel
14. Here you can view the channel thumbnail
15. Here you can view the channel name
16. This informs you that the channel is labeled as LIVE
17. This informs you that the channel is labeled as HD
Notes: These are some of the labels that are used on MyStreamingVideo platform: LIVE, HD, CU (CatchUp TV), Adult (18+), Omniverse
18. The blue color highlights the program that is currently playing on the player
19. The programs that have the title showed with white color are the ones that are currently playing on the channels – clicking on it the stream from the player will change to the selected one
20. The programs that have the title showed with gray color are the ones that are scheduled on the channels – clicking on the future programs the program details overlay window will open
If you selected to view the Social Broadcasts then this is how it looks like:
If you clicked on a future program (explained on point 20 from above) then you will be able to view the details of the program:
1. Here you can view the title of the program
2. Here you can view the number and the title of the channel
3. This icon informs you the type of the channel: CU, LIVE
4. This icon informs you that the channel is HD
5. Here you can view the period of time for the scheduled program
6. Here you can view the description of the program
7. Click here to open the channel and play the stream on the application
8. Click here to record the program – this button appears only on the future programs and if the DVR module is enabled on the platform (contact support team if the module is not enabled)
9. Click here to close the program details window
After you have scheduled a program to be recorded (by clicking on the Record This Program button) the program details window will close and you will land on the EPG where you will be informed that the program was scheduled to be recorded:
1. This label informs you that the program will be recorded and the time when the record will start and end
2. The red icon informs you which programs will be recorded
